The Easley Housing Authority (EHA) is pleased to announce that, thanks to recent additional grant funding from South Carolina Housing, two important improvement projects have been approved and are underway to enhance the quality and safety of our apartment homes.
- Exterior Door Replacement Project - Nearly Completed
The first project involved replacing all exterior doors across all apartments. With the exception of a few doors that still have to be installed and some additional touch-ups or painting, nearly all 200 doors were successfully installed in record time. We extend our sincere thanks to Greene Tree Construction for their excellent work in completing this major task efficiently.
Please note: Screen doors will not be replaced as the cost exceeds the available budget. Additionally, tenants are not permitted to install their own screen doors. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this process. - Roof Replacement Project - Starting Soon
The second approved project is the replacement of roofs on five buildings, a much-needed improvement that will begin between August 25 and August 28.
During this time, we kindly ask tenants to:
- Be mindful of increased traffic, construction equipment, and vehicles in the area.
- Ensure that children and pets are supervised at all times.
- Do not approach contractors or interfere with any construction activities.
- Direct all questions or concerns to the EHA office.
- Be mindful of increased traffic, construction equipment, and vehicles in the area.
We thank you for your ongoing patience and cooperation as we work to improve our apartments and community. These upgrades are part of our continued commitment to providing safe and affordable housing for all residents.
