As we prepare for the upcoming Hurricane season we are asking residents to take note of the following items;
In anticipation of high winds please make sure all chairs, toys, potted plants etc. are moved indoors. Also, please note that our maintenance staff will not be coming out for any calls during the storm. If you have an emergency, please call 911.
Heavy rain is possible with this storm - if this does occur many local roads will flood. Please do not attempt to drive through any flood waters as you will not know what debris may be in the water. Do not allow children to play in any flood water after the storm has past.
The SC Emergency Management suggests you have the following items prepared:
Water – one gallon of water per person per day for at least three days, for drinking and sanitation
Food – at least a three-day supply of non-perishable food
Battery-powered or hank crank radio and a NOAA Weather Radio with tone alert
First aid kit
Moist Towelettes, garbage bags and plastic ties for personal sanitation
Manual can opener for food
Cell phone with charges and a backup battery
Non-prescription medications such as pain relievers, anti-diarrhea medication, antacids or laxatives
