The Resident is responsible for paying rent based on the following options:

INCOME-BASED RENT: The monthly rental amount shall be equal to 30% of the adjusted monthly income. Income-based rents shall not be less than minimum rents.

FLAT RENT: The flat rental amount for the dwelling unit is based on the rental value of the unit, as determined by Easley Housing Authority. 

If a family chooses a Flat Rent lease agreement, their income shall be reviewed one time every three years. However, the Flat Rent and lease agreement will be negotiated annually.
