EHA Welcomes New Executive Director, Daysha Alston


The Housing Authority of the City of Easley Welcomes New Executive Director Daysha Alston-Gordon.

Daysha Alston-Gordon is a seasoned Executive, who brings to The City of Easley Housing Authority a decade of Executive level Public Housing experience from two high performing agencies in the Carolina's, The Housing Authority of the City of Charleston, and The Charlotte Housing Authority.

She received her Bachelors of Arts in Human Resource Development from Limestone College and earned her Masters of Science in Management from Southern Wesleyan University. While serving at these agencies, she has implemented numerous innovative, cost effective programs, inspiring & mentoring staff along the way. As she did while working as a Professor at Baruch College in NYC. After devoting 20 years of her life to Human Resources, she decided to apply the knowledge she has gained to create the change she was unable to make in her role as the head of HR.

Daysha is well versed in taking a vision and making it a reality through sound strategy development. She intuitively sees the threads of opportunity that wind through an organization, brings them together into a coherent whole, helps others expand their thinking, and drives business through empowerment.   She is an inspirational leader who inspires action and dedication to a common cause. Respected as a credible voice in decision making, finding strategic partners, and establishing governance boundaries, Daysha earns a seat at the table wherever she serves.
